Lighted Chrismas Parade

Wamego’s Lighted Christmas Parade in downtown Wamego will be Saturday, November 26, 2011 at 6:00pm. Visit our businesses in downtown for a Holiday Open House from 5-7pm that evening before and after the parade for special treats and drawings!

Park Lighting Ceremony

Come see the beautiful Wamego City Park illuminated with thousands of white lights starting Saturday November 26, 2011 through Christmas. The lights will be switched on in the park immediately following the parade.Visit Santa at the Wamego Historical Museum school house after the ceremony!

Did You Know?

The largest Marsh Arch Bridge once spanned the Kansas River at Wamego. The bridge stood from 1929 to the late 1980s when it was replaced by the present bridge.
