Christmas is a special time to be in Wamego with a lighted Christmas parade that kicks off the season. You can step into downtown businesses for a Holiday Open House before and after the parade for treats and a drawing. After the parade filters into scenic City Park, and the switch is pulled, the park glows with thousands of beautiful lights and unique decorations. The day is complete with a visit with Santa in the historic school house in the park. Who wouldn’t be in the Christmas Spirit after that?
