Christmas is a special time to be in Wamego. There’s a mini-tree auction, visits with Santa, and a lighted Christmas parade that kicks off the season. After the parade filters into scenic City Park, the Grand Elf, selected from elementary school students, flips the switch and the park glows with thousands of beautiful lights and unique decorations. Who wouldn’t be in the Christmas Spirit after that?
