Monthly Art Walk

First Thursdays Wamego – Art Walk
Whirling Earth’s featured artist Vance Weidle, second from the right, discusses his wood “chip carving” work with a guest in the pottery studio’s main gallery during the Art Walk’s premier night Sept. 4, 2008.

Several of the art studios, galleries and related businesses in Wamego’s downtown business district have banded together for a one-night-a-month “Art Walk” along downtown’s Lincoln Avenue. Participating locations will be open for Art Walk visitors from 6 – 9 p.m., rain or shine. Come experience local artists’ work while visiting with local merchants.
