Fancy Creek Park

This is one of the more challenging trail bike trails in Kansas with six miles of hard packed natural trail through cedar forest and native grasslands. Rock outcroppings and ridges provide ample challenges. Camping is available with 24 electric sites, 200 primitive sites with lots of shade and lakeside views and an ADA compliant, unisex vault toilet available. A concrete boat ramp, amphitheater and an NRA approved shooting target range, one of the few available in Kansas are also onsite. Located 34 miles from Wamego.

Directions

Travel north on Lincoln Avenue / KS 99 – 14.2 miles
Turn left (going west) on State Street in Westmoreland – 1 mile
Turn right on Westmoreland Road – ½ mile
Turn left (going west) on Westmoreland Road – 6 miles
Take a right (going north) on KS-13 – ½ mile
Turn left on KS-16 – 11.5 miles
Fancy Creek State park is on your right after the bridge
